BACKGROUND

My law practice commenced in 1979 in Los Angeles and from that time till present I have been in private practice, in house counsel for title companies, associate counsel, and ‘of counsel’. My legal background is in the fields of real estate, insolvency, commercial transactions and consumer transactions. I handle disputes in these legal areas often by way of litigation or alternative dispute resultion. Many times a client will confer with me after having been sued and I file the appropriate response and take care of the defense. Other times I commence suit for the client or start an private arbitration process. Real estate topics include claims and disputes relating to leaseholds, title, title insurance, encroachments, escrows, easements, homeowners associations and improvement and construction contracts. Consumer transaction examples include home improvement contractor disputes for poor workmanship and defective installation of solar panels, and commercial transactions often concern non payment of shipments of goods.

My office is located in Rocklin, California where I generally handle cases local to Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado counties which includes the greater Lake Tahoe area in California. I am licensed to practice law in California and Massachusetts.
